Hola! I’m glad you made it to my page. My name is Ana Marmolejo. I was born in Colombia, but have lived in Miami, FL for most of my life. I have an older brother, Jaime, who is 6 years older than I am and coincidently, we share a birthday (And no my mom did not plan that lol). I love to travel, go to University of Miami football games (GO CANES!), hang out with family/friends, and last but not least serve my local church!

When I went to college, I decided to stay home and attended the University of Miami. In 2008, I graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Industrial Engineering. After graduation, I joined an international consulting firm, where I had interned for 2 years. I then began my 10-year journey specializing within the Financial Services industry. When I think back on these past 12 years at my firm, I am thankful to have met amazing colleagues, mentors, and friends while serving many clients in different cities around the country.

Over the last year, I did some soul searching and realized that my passion is composed of 3 things – God, People, and Travel. I started attending Vous Church on January 7th, 2018 and my life was forever changed! After hearing about The World Race from a good friend at church, I realized that this race was a perfect fit! The World Race encompasses all three aspects of my passion and I knew right away that it was something that I wanted to do. After putting it in God’s hands and praying about it, here I am, signed up for the October 2019 World Race ready to pursue my new found passion! 🙂

For more details on my why and my journey, please keep following my page and keep an eye out for first blog post.
